Obituary of David Alan Patts

David A. Patts, age 74, died on March 21st 2024 at South Shore Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Quincy, raised in Braintree, lived in Weymouth, then settled in Kingston. David was a member of the Naval Reserves from 1969-1974 and a member of the Thomas More Drum and Bugle corps. He graduated from Braintree High School class of 67. For 39 years he was employed by New England Telephone/NYNEX/Bell Atlantic/Verizon before retiring in 2007.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Sharon(Gobbi) Patts, three sons Matthew of Plymouth, Kristofer of Kingston, Michael of Plymouth and one daughter Andrea of Brockton. He was also a devoted Papa to Kolbie and Savannah of Kingston. David had six brothers; James(Jimmy) of Duxbury, John(Jack) of Weymouth, Kevin of Weymouth, Kenneth(Kenny) of Hanson, the late Stephen of Quincy, and the late William(Billy) of Braintree. He also had 35 nieces and nephews. David was the son of John and Teresa(Clare) Patts of Braintree. 

Services are to be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston 11am-3pm on Wednesday April 3rd 2024.
