Robert A. Green, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 27 after battling Alzheimer's. He was the son of the late William A. Green and Alma C. (McCormack) Green of Bryantville. He was a lifelong resident of Bryantville. After graduating from Pembroke High School in 1957, he joined the Army National Guard and then worked for the Foxboro Company until he retired. He had many interests that brought him joy especially photography, working around his house, always woodworking or inventing new gadgets. He especially loved animals.
Robert enjoyed his last years spent at the Dwyer Home in Weymouth where he was given excellent care. He was survived by his five nephews, two nieces and ten great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Alma and William, sister Nancy (Vernazzaro), and brother Horatio. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Robert’s name to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at MSPCA.org
