Felipe... Years ago I came up on this cute couple sitting with their umbrellas, newspaper, book and a cold one, of course. Beth and I thought it would be nice to meet this quiet couple. Who knew that it opened up friendships that grew into Family. Always looking forward to hanging with Felipe and Jane. Like summer camp. Seeing Felipe early in the morning for his daily walks. Coming back with the newspaper and a joke or two. A little music and dancing through the night and some words from Felipes mouth that I shouldn't repeat. I am Blessed with Good memories of Felipes Shenanigans, Smile and Very impressed with his water skills... Welemelo to You Señor I'll see you later, Not now, Not yet, but later. Maggie CHOP CHOP

My honey and I met Phil and Jane during a Ptown Pride weekend party at the Cape Codder Guest House. The beginning of the ‘Codder Family’ !!! And we would get together occasionally at their home in D-luxbury Well we always aspired to be Jane and Phil, who could party ‘till the cowa came home’!!!! Before heading home after a night in downtown Ptown, we decided to look in the bars to make sure Jane and Phil weren’t still out partying ( which would make us look bad since we are 15 years to their senior ) We get back to the ‘Codder’ and sure enough their Room 16 door is open and they’re yelling at us to come in for a drink. After one I couldn’t keep my eyes open, but they were bunny energizers!! Another night we were together in Ptown at a piano bar and not a lively group. Phil leans over to me and whispers, “We’ve got to get out of here! There’s a band playing next door. Five minutes later Jane’s asking, “ Where’s Phil?” Well i knew where Phil was! And sure enough we find him on the dance floor next door Always the life of the party… Always making us smile… Thanks for the memories Phil. Blessed to have called you friend! Sleep in heavenly peace..

Ohh Phil with a heavy heart I am writing this. I will alway remember your quick wit and never missed a quick come back! Your love of chicken livers and also ice cream, any sweets really. You have given me such good advice over the years. You are someone I admire and love so much! And I will miss you so much. I will treasure every memory the 4 of us have had! Ptown, Florida, NH, Newport RI, Mashpee, Countless dinners and lunches, many beach days on Duxbury beach!
