Obituary of Cheryl Mae Abusheery
Cheryl Mae Abusheery, 79, of Plymouth, MA, passed away peacefully on June 6th surrounded by family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Cheryl was born in Omaha Nebraska where she met her husband John. After moving to Massachusetts, she spent many years residing in Pembroke MA before she moved to Plymouth MA for the remaining 8 years of her life. Cheryl enjoyed traveling to Aruba, spending time with her husband John (deceased) and going out for dinner with her family and friends. But her true love was her grand children.
Cheryl was predeceased by; her parents Walter and Ruth Dimmitt, her husband John Abusheery, her brother Walter Dimmitt, her sister who passed away at a young age, her mother in law Libby Abusheery, and her sister in law Maria Kiley and her daughter in law Kimberly Abusheery.
Cheryl was the proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren Mckayla, Jared, Julianna, Jaxson, Steven, Katherine and Lauren and 1 great grand daughter Vivian Perry. She is survived by her son Matthew and daughter in law Sharon Craig, son Gregory, son Michael and wife Kristen, sister in law Donna Leetch and husband Thomas Leetch, brother in law Jerry Kiley. And all her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston MA on Wednesday June 19th.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wampatuck Lodge (FreeMasons), 38 Franklin Street, East Bridgewater MA 02333-1250. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Sharon Craig for her incredible care of Cheryl over the years.
