Obituary of Audrey M. Oliveira

Audrey M Oliveira, 96, of Carver, MA, passed away on 07/29/24 peacefully in her home in Carver.

A private service in JBCC in Bourne will be held where she will join her husband. (Date unknown)

Audrey was born in Quincy, Ma to George Simmons and Marion Edwards on 08/11/27. She graduated from Quincy High School in 1945. Audrey worked for Purity Supreme in management. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics, gardening and baking but most of all she loved her grandchildren. 

Audrey is survived by her daughter Dawn M Sanford and her husband Robert M Sanford, grandsons Gregory R Sanford, Brian D. Sanford all from Carver, MA and Christine Armour from Norwood, granddaughter Jennifer M Cutler and her husband David of Oklahoma City, OK. and four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Audrey is preceded in death by her husband and World War 2 Army veteran Antone Oliveira, Air Force veteran Garry P Oliveira, her brother Newell E Simmons, her 3 sisters, Marion Volpe, Elaine Gillis and Joan Edsall.

Memorial donations may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation. Grateful thanks and appreciation to the Nurses and support staff of Hospice, the Kathy Leonard care providers and our dear friend Liz Pardo who provided countless hours of care and support that Audrey greatly appreciated.
