Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

James Bernard Paduch, 61, of Carver, MA, passed away on September 29, 2024.

James was born in Taunton, MA to Louis and Georgette (McGay) Paduch on January 17, 1963. James was an avid Eagle Scout and leader of the local Youth Group. He graduated from Plymouth Carver High School in 1981, and went on to earn an Associates of Science from Stockbridge School of Agriculture in 1983. He worked in the family business at Crystal Lake Greenhouses before going on to own his own business, the Rock Village Cranberry Company.

James was a devoted follower of Christ, and very much enjoyed his recent time with the Iron Men Bible Study. He is currently enjoying the fruits of his faith. He is free from pain, walking about in complete peace, catching up with loved ones, and growing his relationship with the Lord.

James loved spending time with his family at their family home in Middleborough. He loved learning about, teaching about, and exploring all things related to plants. Some of his other hobbies included camping, bee keeping, capturing memories with photography and videography, and playing, singing, and listening to music.

James is survived by his wife, Gretchen (Bent) Paduch, his children Kristin, Reagan, Lauren, and Nolan, and his grandchildren Hannah, Charles, Jane, and Dinah. He is also survived by his sister Deborah, brother Michael, father Louis, and step-mother Beverly.

All are welcome to a visitation at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Carver on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4pm-7pm. A funeral service will take place at Church of the Vine, 5 Wareham Street, Carver on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11am, followed by a burial and celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Fragile Footprints (mail checks to 36 Cordage Park Circle Suite 326, Plymouth, MA, 02360).
