Obituary of James Joseph Waters

James Joseph (Jim) Waters, 60, of Pembroke, MA, passed away on January 15th in Plymouth.
Jim was born and raised in Pembroke to Dorothea and James Waters on October 18th, 1964. He attended Silver Lake Regional High School and graduated in 1982 before joining the United States Army and being stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge in 1987, he began a career in construction, specializing in drywall. Jim loved to fish; watch, talk, and teach sports with his children, and doing whatever he could to make others smile. He was known to many as the kind of man to give his shirt off of his back.
Jim is survived by his 3 children, Jared, Josh, and Kayleigh. His fiance Mikki and her children, Kiah, Alyssa, Doug, and Ardra, of whom considered Jim to be their Step-Dad. Jim is also survived by his Grandchildren, Kailyn, Braden, and Quintin, his mother, Dorothea, his siblings Karen and Michael, His nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Matthew, and Malinda.
Jim’s request was to hold just a small service with his family and have his ashes laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Bourne. There will be a celebration of life in the future for all who knew and loved Jim.
