Obituary of John E. Lane

John E. Lane, Sr. of Middleboro, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on January 15, 2013. He was 73 years old. Beloved husband of Marlene Lane. Loving father of Christine Jeffries of NY, Patrick Lane of Pembroke, Ginger Comeau of Pembroke, Marianne Brown of Halifax, Paul Lane of Hanover, and Kathleen Boccalini of Sandwich, and the late John Lane Jr. Brother of Mary White of Walpole, Gerard Lane of Walpole, and the late Joseph Lane. John is also the cherished grandfather of 11, and survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 18th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax on Saturday, January 19th at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke.
