Obituary of John Skrinyaz

John Skrinyaz, age 62, of Pembroke, formerly of Dorchester, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at his home. John was born in Poland. For many years, he was a machinist. In recent years, John enjoyed providing transportation for people by driving for The Ride. He liked everyone and he was a great people person! John was also an avid gardener; he loved growing vegetables in his garden. For 40 years, John was the beloved husband of Krystyna (Wisniewski) Skrinyaz; devoted father of Robert Skrinyaz & his wife Chelsea of California, Katherine Skrinyaz of Pembroke and Janyce Kemp & her husband David of Hanover; loving grandfather of James Ryan and Benjamin Kemp; cherished son of Stanley & Apolonia (Misiaszek) Skrzyniarz of Dorchester; dear brother of George Skrzyniarz & his wife Donna of Hanson, Eugene Skayne & his wife Gisela of Boxborough and Elizabeth Skrzyniarz of Connecticut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke, on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 9:00 AM, followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree.
