Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Joe. He was my chief all the years I was on the Monson PD. I looked up to him as my chief, but also as my friend. When I heard that he had passed, I was heartsick. What a tragic loss. I'm sure he'll be watching over his beloved family and many friends and will continue to protect and serve from Heaven.

Dear Kathy, Mike and Devin,
We were so sorry to read about the tragic accident that claimed Joe's life last Sunday. Though Libby and Devin haven't been in touch lately, we remember what a good friend Devin was,and how welcoming you were to all of us when we visited you in Kingston. Joe was very kind to Libby at a formative stage in her life, and we appreciate that, as well as his service as our Police Chief here in Stow. Though we are unable to attend services, we will keep all of you in our thoughts and our prayers.
With sincere condolences from Ron, Phoebe, and Libby Haberkorn

Joe was the kind of guy one never forgets. He was always a gentleman and a pleasant companion. Some of my most enjoyable moments were in his company. He treated me with respect and always made sure I was safe and comfortable.
He was an irreplaceable friend. I shall miss him immeasurably. I grieve for Kathy, Devon and Michael. Joe was taken from them at a point where he was finally able to devote more time to them.
Rest in peace, my good buddy.

Family, friends and partners,
I am so sorry for such a tragic loss. There is a special assignment for police guardian angels above. I suspect that assignment has been filled with a very new special angel.
