It is with a heavy heart that I have just learned of Maxine's passing. Maxine lived across the street from me and my family for 26 years. Maxine was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us. She always came over during Christmastime with a special gift. On halloween she had special treats furor sons. Maxine and Roy were always patient and kind as our sons grew up across the street. God bless you Maxine, now you are with Roy. Sincerely, Laurie and Ron Scolamiero Duxbury Mass

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Maxine. Carolyn loved Maxine so much and even though they were the only 2 sisters who moved away from Hannibal they still kept in touch weekly by phone. She always said Maxine was like a 2nd mom to her growing up which is understandable when you consider Grandma Hudelson was raising 14 children and needed all the help she could get. I know I (along with Jenny) will always cherish the times spent with your entire family both in MA & MO. You will all be in my prayers!

Aunt Maxine, you are already missed by your large family, and by the ones who may never have met you, including my children. My children missed an opportunity to meet a great person. They would have enjoyed spending time with you and taking in all the things we had the opportunity to enjoy. I have fond memories of going to Duxbury/Boston and spending time there with you. We may have only seen each other a few times (half in good times and half in sorrow), but each time, it was always a pleasure to see you and talk with you. My mom will very much miss talking with you nightly. May you rest in peace and be reunited with Roy in heaven. Lord, you have taken a piece of our family from us to be joined with you, and I pray that now, her pain be eased, her fatigue be banished, and she lives eternally by your side. I also pray that you help Roy and Craig and the rest of our family heal from our family's loss. Amen

Aunt Maxine will be missed by the the nieces and nephews in Hannibal. My dad, Claude, Jr., was the oldest of the 14 children.he dearly loved his sister, Maxie. We were always excited when she would "come home" with the boys. My deepest and most sincere sympathy for your loss.

Roy and Maxine were probably our oldest friends. After Roy passed we stayed in touch by phone and would visit Maxine each summer. We are now saddened to hear of her passing as she was a true close friend. Many very good times we (our two families)have shared since the late 50's,starting in New Castle,Pa. then on to Long Island, and finally in Massachusetts .Maxine was always such a giving person and always was asking about our children and grandchildren . She was a Missourian 100%. She was a beautiful person and we will miss her! Pat,Sylvia and family.

Roy Jr., Linda, Craig, Cathy & Kate - I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Maxine's passing. I will always cherish the time spent with you all when we came to Duxbury whether it was for a wedding or just a vacation. It seems like ages since we've seen you because probably it has been. Mom has been gone for 18 years now and we are grateful to both of you for traveling to MO to be pallbearers at her funeral. I wish we were able to travel back for the funeral but know you are in our hearts and prayers during this time. We love you!
