Ruth Maxine Herring, a 45 year resident of Duxbury, passed away on June 8, 2015. She was 86 years old. Beloved wife of the late Roy O. Herring. Loving Mother to Roy Herring & his wife Linda of Hanover and Craig Herring & his wife Cathy of Bristol, RI. Cherished grandmother to Kate Herring. Maxine is one of 14 children born to the late Claude and Minnie Huddleson.
An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, June 12th from 10-11:00 AM, with a funeral service set to begin at 11:00 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main st (rt. 106) Kingston. Interment will be at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The American Cancer Society at P.O.
