John was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He always commented how beautiful our yard was and how he enjoyed seeing the flowers on his walks around the neighborhood. While on my daily walks with our dog, Maggie, I would always stop to talk with John on the porch. He would tell stories about South Boston, his travels out west, and of course, the Red Sox. I will greatly miss these times with John. Adele and I extend our sympathy to all who knew and loved him.
