William J. Ciavarro, 71, Carver, an Air Force veteran, and former Commander of the VFW Post #7421 in Carver, passed away on April 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Patricia F. Ciavarro. Loving father to Michael and his wife Vikki Ciavarro of Carver, Anthony and his wife Christine Ciavarro of Carver, and Paul and his wife Meghan Ciavaro of Carver. Brother of Dorothy Dudley and her husband Dana of Taunton, and Lorraine Ciavarro of Marshfield. Cherished grandfather to Cassandra, Will, Maximo, Cali, Alyssa, and Meghan. William is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 20th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 10:30 AM at St. Kateri Church, 126 South Meadow Rd, Plymouth. William will be laid to rest with military honors at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
