Obituary of Robert L. Elliott

Robert L. Elliott of Duxbury died on February 18, 2008. He was 76 years old. Mr. Elliott was born in Leominster, MA on July 12, 1931, and is the son of the late Sidney and Florence (Dutton) Elliott. He was raised and lived in Winchester for 47 years, and has resided in Duxbury for nearly 30 years. He is a graduate of Winchester High School’s class of 1949, and attended Boston University – majoring in business. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Elliott was the manager for Grossman’s Building supply in Braintree. He was the Chief of Auxiliary Police in Winchester for many years. Beloved Husband, of 50 years, to Priscilla Elliott. Loving Father of David J. Elliott of VA, and Gayle C. Roberts and her Husband Steve of NH. Brother of Dorothy Peterson of TX, Marcia Fuller of Boxford, and Richard Elliott of ME. Cherished Grandfather of Heidi Beaman, Rebecca Roberts, Melissa Elliott, Matthew Elliott, and Timothy Elliott. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 21st from 5-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22nd at the New Testament Church of Cedarville, 1120 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Testament Christian School, 1120 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360.
