Obituary of Robert Noble

Robert “Bob” Noble of Marshfield, MA, husband of the late Louise Noble, passed away on February12th, 2020. He was 76.
Born February 6th, 1944 in Bronxville, NY to the late James and Catherine O’Connell Noble, Robert grew up in Westchester County. After graduating from The College of the Holy Cross, he served his country in the 26th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing of the Air Force.
Upon his return, he worked as a reporter for the Lawrence (Mass.) Eagle Tribune and was involved in politics, serving as New Hampshire Press Secretary for Sargent Shriver’s 1976 bid for the presidency. From there he went on to forge a long career in public relations, first at Carl Byoir & Associates, and then in the telecommunications industry at NYNEX, Bell Atlantic and Verizon
A longtime resident of Wilton, CT, he and his family moved to Duxbury, MA in 1998.
He is survived by his sons Christopher and Alexander. He is predeceased by his brother James “Bud” Noble. He leaves behind his sisters Margaret Stauble and Mary Noble, nephew Thomas Stauble, niece Ann Stauble, and other loving family members and friends.
A Funeral service will be held at The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption in Fall River, MA at 10:00am on Friday, February 21st.
