I am so blessed and grateful for all of the memories, every adventure with Elaine to the library was a memory I’ll treasure. Elaine is an honorary grandmother to me and she will be so dearly missed.
My sincerest condolences to all of her loved ones and her devoted Husband, Julius.
Julius, you and Elaine set such an amazing example of patience and love, I look up to you both and I could see the love you have for each other. Elaine’s passing is still hard to believe, I pray you’re well.
Sending you my love and prayers ❤️

I am so sorry to hear about Elaine's passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences to Julius and the rest of her family. I feel so blessed to have known Elaine. Her kind and welcoming nature to me as a child has left such a lasting impression on me. Her and Julius were so kind and inviting towards my family and I for as long as I can remember. I will always appreciate them inviting me to their home frequently and allowing me to stay with them for Thanksgiving while I was at boarding school. Elaine always had a kind thing to say about me and showed concern for my wellbeing that really touched my heart and I will miss her dearly.
Love,
Hannah

Mrs. Prince was my 12th grade English teacher at BLA. She was a great teacher and one of the nicer and more approachable members of the faculty. To the extent that I can string together a coherent sentence, I give her most of the credit. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Julius,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of Elaine.
I met you both over 40 years ago during one of your many Bermuda vacations.
When I mentioned that I was going Fisher College in Boston that Fall you kindly invited my parents and I to your home for dinner.
Over the years this has developed into attending my wedding and inviting my family to your home.
Elaine and you always made these visits very special for us , whether it was activities and 'adventures' planned for my kids to stocking the fridge with our favourite American foods.
Of course a visit to Far Fars was always included in our plans!
Elaine was a kind , caring woman who was conscientious and principled . She will be missed very much.

Mr. Prince,
It is with a heavy heart that we write this. As your colleagues for many years at the Martin Luther King School, we had the pleasure of knowing you and your wife as representative of the finest that the Boston Public Schools had to offer. As we reflect on Elaine's passing, we offer our deepest condolences. May her memory be a blessing. She is now with the angels.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Ms. Prince was a treasure to me at Boston Latin Academy. She impressed upon me that my opinion matters. I found a plethora of literary critiques for Jack London’s White Fang, but she said she wanted to hear my opinion too. Thank you, Ms. Prince. Oh, and those Wordly Wise workbooks were worth their weight in gold. Thank you. I am happy to hear that Ms. Prince was able to enjoy some of her retirement and was able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary. I just wish she had even more time with us.

Mrs. Prince was my 7th Grade English teacher and first year with BLA. She pushed myself and many others to dig deeper and challenged us to excel in a tough public school of large classes and limited resources. In hindsight, she taught me adversity, to believe that I am capable of more, and to push myself to excel. She’s left an impression on me almost 30yrs later. I am so sad to hear of her recent passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you and with your family, during these difficult times of loss. I hope this memory passes a glimmer of happy memories and the lasting impression she had on many of us with her craft as one of the most memorable teachers at BLA.

My condolences to the family. Mrs. Prince was my English teacher at BLA. I think I actually had her as a teacher twice. She was an awesome teacher. She was pretty strict in her classroom but she always smiled while scolding you. :) She was one of favorite and memorable teachers at BLA.

I remember Mrs. Prince... she was my eighth grade English teacher at Girls' Latin -- back in the early 70's! If I recall correctly, she only taught us for half of the year -- and we had a substitute for the remainder of the year. I remember missing her -- as she was such a wonderful teacher... very demanding... but I'm thankful to have had teachers like Mrs. Prince. I just got out my year book and looked at her picture.. one of my favorite teachers! I'm sorry for your loss.

When I think about friends who are no longer with us, I remember times that were sometimes funny, always filled with laughter and kindness and sometimes heartfelt. Elaine was a wonderful hostess who loved entertaining and loved her (many) poodle babies. I remember so many good times at Elaine and Julius' beautiful home and spectacular garden. And Elaine made the BEST shrimp dip this side of heaven.
