My fondest memory of my big cousin Chris is when he and his sister Heather would visit at my Grandma's house and entertain us as little kids- me and my cousin Nicole- in the downstairs playroom. One game we played I remember vividly. They would turn out the lights, then one ran and hid around the other side of the basement to behind a little cutout window that had been installed, where they could watch us through the blinds. When the lights came back on, the other would open up a big picture book with us, and we could hear the voice of their sibling right next to us speaking, as if they had magically fallen into the story itself and were lost, but really they were on the other side of the wall, watching through the blinds of this random window. Playing pretend, I had no idea it was a trick, he was the best actor, and even though he was a teenager, he was always SO nice to a couple of pipsqueaks! I always felt loved in his presence, he had such a magnetic personality, and I cannot believe I will never see his easygoing smile again. My thoughts are with this family and everyone in his life who he loved. Miss you Chris, always- so much love forever,
